Q:
Is there a minimum order amount?
A:
There is a $15 minimm order amount due to the high cost of order processing (labor, credit card charges, packaging, etc).
  
Q:How long before my order ships? 
A:We make every effort to ship within 1-3 business days. We do reserve the right to take up to 1 week if we are awaiting some orders or other unexpected situations occur. You will receive an email with tracking information when your order ships. Please give us at least one week before inquiring on your order. Should we determine it would be faster for you, we will have your order either completely or partially shipped from our distributors.
  
Q:What is "Priority Mail"?
A:"Priority Mail" is what the US Post Office calls their shipping for packages. It is faster than Parcel Post but can still take 2-5 days to arrive after shipping. It is not priority handling by us or epedited shipping by the Post Office.
    
Q:I don't like bright brass hardware. How can I darken (antique) it?
A:Darkening brass is not difficult. All brass items have a coating of lacquer applied at the factory.  This can be removed with acetone or even finger nail polish that contains acetone. After removing the lacquer (very think coat, should be easy), use our brass darkener (item 773492, 773498 or 773499) to brush on or dip the part in. When the degreef darkening is reached, rinse the part in water, dry and mount.
    
Q:When will my credit card be charged?
A:
There are two methods used by on-line merchants and when you are actually charged varies.  Either the merchant's credit card processor will 1) send in an Authorization when you place your order and follow up with the actual charge when they ship; or 2) they will run the actual charge through when you place the order.

We do not store you credit card information and the charge for your purchase will be processed when you place the order. This may be 1-5 days before it actually ships.  We do not have the ability with our credit card processor to use the Authorization/Billing method.
